Roads and highways are made to make our journey easier and safer; however there are still some roads that are made without safety consideration. These roads are usually located in places where roads shouldn’t naturally be constructed, but human beings are born stubborn and just do whatever they want even if it compromises their safety. 1. Everest Base Camp, Nepal

2. Guoliang Tunnel in Taihang Mountains, China
“Road does not tolerate any mistake” in translation to its name. This trekking road was carved by the villagers to provide access to the city. The road is 15ft high and 12 ft wide.
3. Annapurna Circuit, Nepal
This route stretches along the mountainside of the Annapurna Mountain. It is the usual stating trekking route for most trekkers. But campers beware, in 2005 out of 103 trekkers who tried climbing Annapurna I, 56 died.
4. Kungsleden, Sweden
A hiking trail located in the Northern part of Sweden was created in the 19th century. The road runs for about 440 kilometers. Although the road itself is not as dangerous as the others, the wildlife present is what makes this road extremely dangerous to the public.
5. Santa Cruz Trail, Peru
This is a not so difficult trek because so many people visit the site that amenities like toilets are present. What makes this difficult is the up and down trek through passes. It can snow at any time making it more difficult for trekkers to finish their hike.
6. South-West Coast Track, Tasmania
This trekking route is the most difficult trekking route in Australia. The weather is usually terrible making it even more difficult, there are many springs to cross without bridge to use. Stream floods are also usually present and so are muds.
7. GR20, Corsica
This is foot path that crosses the Mediterranean island. This is considered as one of the top trails in the world. This is a well worn path and so trekking is not so difficult but early snow and fig can be very thick for you to see. The challenge also includes the length of the route.
8. Torres Del Paine, Chile

9. Naukluft Trail, Namibia
This trekking route is so dangerous that Namibia government will ask you to sign a waiver claiming that they cannot be blame for any injury or fatality that may happen to trekkers. Aside from uncomfortable hot and dehydrating weather during the day and O degrees at night, you will also to endure the presence of snakes and scorpions roaming around your tent.
10. Pyrenees Haute Route
This is located in between the border of Spain and France. Although weather is not an issue, the route filled with steep and rocky pathway in Europe’s wilderness made this route even more dangerous.
